Pastel Animal Portraits
Instructor: Jane Steelman
Class Code: JS180324
Workshop fee: $120
Saturday, March 24th, 10:00am-4:00pm
Have you ever wanted to paint your dog, cat, horse or iguana? Have you ever wanted to paint your friend’s pets or other animals? Then this is the workshop for you! Pastels lend themselves to creating realistic portraits of animals.
You’ll learn how to create an animal portrait from start to finish using reference photos provided or your own photos!
Supplies to Bring:
UART Sanded Pastel Paper grade 400
Soft Pastels: Mungyo Gallery. I like the handmade best but others will work. If you already have other brands they will also be sufficient. This is not for oil pastels.
Creative Mark Blending Tortillions (small & medium)
Latex or non-latex gloves
Gatorboard or foam core board
Set of Prismacolor NuPastels. I recommend a 36 piece set.
Set of Pastel Pencils. I recommend the Conté à Paris set of 12
